Prophecies, an oratorio for narrator, soloists, chorus, piano, and percussion was premiered at Merkin Hall in NYC in 2004. Like Handel's Messiah, the text is derived from messianic prophecies of scripture. However, unlike the ornate baroque masterpiece, this oratorio seeks to capture the edgy intensity of the wild-eyed prophets of old and the directness of their message.
